The Sheats/Goldstein house was built in the early 1960s and purchased by Goldstein in 1972 when he decided his Afghan hound, Natasha, needed more space than his high-rise apartment could offer. She really liked to run. Already predisposed to architecture having grown up around Frank Lloyd Wright homes in Wisconsin, why not throw down on a house that met both his and Natasha's interests?
