The Details
Hard Summer is happening all over the L.A. State Historic Park, 32 acres located near the heart of Downtown L.A. at 1245 N. Spring St. You can buy tickets for either day, or the complete festival,
right here. The best way to get there is by parking at or near an MTA Station and taking public transportation, and all tickets include free fare on the Metro Rail. The entrance to the event is an 8-minute walk from Union Station. The Metro will be running until 2:45 am both nights to make sure everyone gets home OK.
HARD Summer is an 18+ event, so your little cousin is S.O.L., and if you're 21 or up you can also buy a VIP pass that includes a no-wait entrance, a private seating area and private bar to avoid those long beer lines.
Lots more details, including group rates for hotel rooms, safety information and a list of restricted items (spoiler alert: no pacifiers), can be found on the
HARD Summer website.
