Griddle Café
There's no question that word-of-mouth buzz can have an element of self-selection (if you neither loved or hated something, you're much less likely to tell other people about it), and thus should be taken with a grain of salt. That said, when
everyone telling you about how amazing their pancakes are prefaces their reviews with "I don't even like pancakes, but...", you figure you might be on to something. And the Griddle Café does not disappoint, with massive, sweet flapjacks (including the signature Red Velvet variety) that it would take a team of humans to finish. Come hungry, but don't expect to be eating as soon as you show up– average wait times often exceed an hour.
