"Constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movement," is the motto of Crossfit a workout "lifestyle" that has been ever increasing in popularity. Rather than a boot camp led by a close-talking, shouting ex-marine, you will instead get supportive and knowledgeable instructors, classes tailored to your fitness level and most importantly results such as the chiseled bodies of my avid CrossFit member friends who are often scantily clad now since joining. Based on movements that are found in functional daily life, these short, high-impact workouts use exercises such as plyometrics, kettlebell training, Olympic weightlifting, medicine ball training, power-lifting, gymnastics, rowing, running and jumping rope to give you that athletic bod you've always dreamed would be yours.
