The Beautiful and... Drugged?
We definitely didn't need The New York Times to tell us that the Upper East Side has the highest usage rate of Ozempic in the city, but hey - nice to know it's official.
A new study by Trilliant Health revealed that last year, 2.3 percent of the population living in Manhattan's moneyed stretch between the Upper East Side and Gramercy Park were shooting up on Ozempic, Wegovy or Mounjaro.
Impressive for a neighborhood that also happens to have one of the lowest rates of diabetes and obesity, no?
Oh and considering that number doesn't even touch all of those who have resorted to shadier methods and are instead on off-brand semaglutide in the hopes of slimming down, like, woah.
