Happy 125th Birthday, Hollywood! It's hard to believe that a century-and-a-quarter ago, a real estate mogul from Kansas named Harvey Wilcox registered the area with the County recorder, envisioning "the perfect site for a utopian-like community for devout Christians, where they could live a a highly moral life free of vices such as alcohol." Well, Harvey, the tranny hooker practicing her pole dancing on the bus stop sign at Santa Monica & Highland seems to indicate that it may not exactly have worked out as planned, but Hollywood is still alive and (mostly) thriving, so kudos!
