When sharing the news with her followers, Daryl-Ann claimed that her mother had been exposed to COVID "ten to twelve" days ago, and as followers pointed out, the positive result would have coincided with the family getting tested before a now-cancelled trip to Hawaii.
According to accounts, Daryl-Ann and Lisa travelled to California and were out and about mask-free, despite being aware of Lisa's positive result. One concerned fan claimed that she ran into the pair in Los Angeles, chatted, and took photos with them a day before Lisa went to the hospital with more serious symptoms.
Daryl-Ann then fueled even more outrage when she said she had gone to Target after being with her mother, rather than staying in quarantine.
