Melbourne-based quartet Hiatus Kaiyote has been met with critical acclaim since exploding on the scene in 2013. These Aussies continue to turn heads, earning themselves two Grammy nominations and praise by Questlove, Pharrell and Prince along the way. NBD. Their sound has been dubbed “Future Soul,” mashing together hip hop, soul, jazz, funk, synthesizers and samba beats all rolled up into one hell of a ride. We caught up with Hiatus Kaiyote’s stylish front-woman Nai Palm on the eve of their Los Angeles El Rey show on Feb 11th, just days before the glitz and glamour of this year's Grammys.
