To go from self producing your first album to now, being Grammy nominated in such a short period of time – is it easier to wrap your head around it all or does it feel surreal?
Nothing gets easier, it’s just you find a bit more balance within yourself. It’s kind of like someone’s turned the lights up and life is like, really intense. But, it’s kind of both. On stage you feel more seasoned and comfortable. But that’s the thing, we challenge ourselves so much that it doesn’t get easy. Which is a good thing because if it’s easy then you're just bored or what’s the point? I guess it’s like a video game, you might get better at playing but the levels get harder.
