2005: Snoop, Dogg Pound and The Game Beat Up A Fan
In a concert at the White River Amphitheatre in Washington state, Snoop, the Dogg Pound and The Game
were sued (but not actually arrested) for allegedly beating down a 24-year old fan, Richard Monroe, who claims that he was invited to come up on stage during their performance of "Gin & Juice." Reports vary, but several people countered that Monroe actually lunged at Snoop, prompting the beatdown. No matter who started it, the accusations are pretty brutal, including charges that the Dogg Pound ripped Monroe's earrings from his earlobes and poured liquor on him.
The lawsuit may be fruitless, as everyone involved has appeared in court several times without resolution, but one fact remains: fellows, if you think you might get in a fight with a rapper and his entourage, for God's sake, refrain from wearing giant earrings. It's just not going to end well.
