What: The immaculately landscaped grounds and poolside at the W, where The Backyard is located, are remarkable for how completely they shut out the bustle of next-door Wilshire Blvd. The food, a contemporary mix of farm-to-table salads, sandwiches, brunch classics and flatbreads from "Top Chef" vet Dakota Weiss, is light, delicious, and fits the setting perfectly.
