Just a few steps away from Canter’s is another great late night spot called Animal. Animal is a little on the higher-end of restaurants, but it is definitely delicious. The menu is created by the owners, celebrity chef duo Vinny Dotolo and Jon Shook, who are also responsible for the restaurants Son of a Gun and Trois Mec. This is not your typical late night diner, but rather a dining experience. Some menu items include grilled quail, a barbecue pork belly sandwich, and poutine (french fries + gravy + cheese).
