You're Invited: Inner-City Arts Summer On 7th Fundraising Gala!

by Romina Rosenow · July 1, 2013

As you may have noticed, the GofG L.A. team goes to a lot of parties. So when we say that one of the most unique summer nightlife experiences is coming up and you, yes, you, have a chance to attend, you should probably take note. Right in the middle of a seldom-visited section of Downtown L.A. is the Inner-City Arts gorgeous, award-winning campus, where once again they'll host the annual Summer on 7th soiree on Saturday, July 20th. Read on to find out about how you can attend this amazing event!

Inner-City Arts' annual gala the only fundraiser held on location and they make the most of it, opening up the full one-acre award winning campus (where even Prince William and Princess Kate visited during their Royal Tour in 2011) for one night only, when the entire campus comes alive with music, art and revelers soaking up the best L.A. has to offer. Attendees will get to wine, dine, dance and enjoy a host of activities all while benefiting Inner-City Arts, L.A.'s top arts education program for at-risk youth, which helps more than 10,000 children and youth grades K-12 each year.

Complimentary beer, wine and delicious food will be provided by generous sponsors, including Trader Joe's, Patina Restaurant Group, Tina Tacos, Tender Greens, Hungry Nomad Food Truck, Angel City Brewery, El Segundo Brewery, Frontera Wines, Let's Be Frank, Stella's Best and more.

DJ Bryan Davidson (Unique LA's resident DJ) will be spinning tunes on the dance floor, and Mohammed Alidu & the Bizung Family will get your feet moving with their infectious brand of Afro-pop.

Shop 'til you drop at the Artist Market, featuring pieces by local artisans and Inner-City Arts very own teaching artists, or, for the more adventurous, purchase a surprise item from the Mystery Gift table. Guests can also participate in Do-it-Yourself crafting stations, or strike a pose in the interactive photo booth.

Last but not least, there will be a rooftop beer garden overlooking the downtown skyline, where attendees can sip on craft beers while enjoying live painting from the likes of El Mac and Uriel Leon. Clearly, we enjoyed it last year and are looking forward to another amazing night with Inner-City Arts!

In order to enjoy all this, all you have to do is purchase your ticket right HERE, or grab a group of five 21+ pals and get a deal on six tickets for only $250. To read more about the incredible work of Inner-City Arts, go HERE.
