This kind of made our day and gives us yet another reason to look forward to summer. For all the children out there who never got over the cult classics of the '90s, enjoy Monty Python, and are down with experimental, music-driven films, Insomniac Cinema will be screening "classics" every Friday for the months of July and August in Westwood Village this summer. Showings will be held at either the Village or the Bruin, depending on their availability on those particular nights. Here is the superb lineup for IC's July screenings at the historic Westwood theatres:
July 2: Monty Python and the Holy Grail
July 9: Pink Floyd The Wall
July 16: Dazed and Confused
July 23: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
July 30: The Big Lebowski
Doesn't it almost seem too good to be true? Obviously, you're going to need to take some bong rips before heading into the screenings so make sure to invite your friends with memberships to the Club, but please do everyone a favor and only tell your cool friends about this -- would be such a shame for this little summer treasure and its limited seating to be wasted on people who don't really appreciate its awesomeness.
