Oliver Stone Tells Gavin Newsom How Much He Loves Cali Bud
This is going to come as major news, but Oliver Stone loves the ganj. As
HuffPo notes, the first tipoff might have been when he appeared on the cover of
High Times puffin' away, but he definitely locked it in when he appeared on Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom's show on CurrenTV, where he helped Newsom add to the series of television clips Republicans would gleefully unleash if Newsom ever decided to run for public office. On the show, they discussed such timely, hard hitting issues as how California has the best weed in the world. While Stone acknowledges that "Vietnamese weed" and "Sudanese weed" are "great stuff," he credits American scientists and ingenuity for making "the best seeds in the world." Hard hitting stuff.
