We're obsessing over The NY Observer list of the hottest bachelors and bachelorettes today and not just because the lists contain 3 people from the GofG family. We always like a little eye candy. Take a look at who made the lists!
The Men
There were plenty of people on the list that you would expect. The dreamy Peter Cashmore, founder and CEO of Mashable; Forbes handsome media reporter Jeff Bercovici; and well known playboy and Men's Health editor Dave Zinczenko; but they also threw in a curve ball with Brian Stelter. The blogger who defied convention by climbing the golden staircase to the New York Times media desk is bald, but he recently lost a lot of weight and proved he's got star power with a prevalent role in the documentary Page One.
We love that they got the guys covered by including Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon, Gawker's Nick Denton, WWD's Zeke Turner, Elle's Joe Zee, Newsweek's Jacob Bernstein, and Gawker's Brian Moylan.

The Women
The women's list also had its safe bets. Media power gals Rachel Sklar (seen at left with Eligible Bachelor Brian Stelter), Jane Pratt, Arianna Huffington are all present and accounted for. While The NYO's Nate Freeman was added to the men's list, we were sad to not see the paper's Elizabeth Spiers on the women's. The rarely photographed Nikki Finke, of Deadline, functions as the curveball and came in at number 50.
