Pooja Kharbanda, designer of 6 Shore Road by Pooja, (practically) takes us to Panama for resort 2016, a place she once called home. She was born in India, spent her childhood in Hong Kong, and then spent her teen years in Panama, and that doesn't include all of her world travels in between. So, why Panama? Pooja notes, "It's where I learned the beach-to-bar lifestyle;" the brand's adage and her design approach to each of her collections. We sat down with the designer poolside at the brand new 1 Hotel South Beach to learn more about her inspiration, why she decided to still show her collection during Swim Week, and more.
