Definitely not the biggest surprise win of the summer, Disney's Tomorrowland pulled ahead (but not too far) of the Poltergeist remake. Admittedly, George Clooney probably helped, but Disney's release of their over-advertised theme park-based movie was also well timed for families closing up the school year. Storytelling beats spooks, for sure.
