Crack is Wack, 128th and 2nd AvenueThis is one of the longest-surviving, illegally-created murals in New York. Keith Haring created the mural in 1986 in response to the crack-cocaine epidemic. Haring was an artist and activist who reacted to New York street culture during the '80s.
