MoMa: Rain Room
This should definitely be a priority for your future summer museum visits. Opening on May 12, this exhibit is part of the MoMa PS1 exhibit EXPO 1: New York. A field of falling rain that pauses wherever a human body is detected, and allows the visitors to "control" the weather around them.
This is Random International's largest and most impressive digital project, choreographing torrential rain and integrating science into art in an approachable, fun and dreamy way.
MoMA, 22-25 Jackson Avenue, Long Island City
