Kurimanzutto: Abraham Cruzvillegas ‘Autocontusión’
Kurimanzutto, one of Mexico’s most prominent galleries, inaugurated its new project space in New York with an installation by Mexican artist Abraham Cuzvillegas. The installation features a new iteration of his work ‘Autocontusión,’ three new sculptures and a site-specific mural mapping his favorite locations in New York. The overall theme of his work is transformation: identity being the most unstable and contradictory features of life.
