The exhibition features approximately 50 works from the MoMA's collection, which is unparalleled in the breadth, depth, and quality of its Pollock holdings. The artworks track his artistic evolution from the 1930s and early 1940s to the late 1940s and early 1950s, when he pioneered the radical abstractions for which he is best known by dripping paint onto canvas or paper.
