Flux Factory, Banquet For America
Hungry for great art? Then feast your eyes on Flux Factory's Banquet for America, "an experimental utopian village centered around a banquet table." It's a town constructed by artists within a gallery (Synecdoche, much?), staffed with bakers, jewelers, barbers, and puppeteers, who will live with each other in habitats made from "reclaimed materials" until the show's conclusion. Performances are bound to be spontaneous and interactive, so feel free to indulge at the Opening Reception this Friday.
