E.V. Day and Kembra Pfahler, Giverny
Artists E.V. Day and Kembra Pfahler collaborated to create "Giverny," a collection of photographs shot in the French gardens immortalized by the paintings of Monet. The twist? Pfahler, the human subject of the paintings, is dressed to resemble a "femlin," a sexy, alien being first imagined by Playboy. For the occasion, The Hole has been transformed into an impressionist's paradise, a garden with actual grass and lily pads floating in a pond. Through April 24 at The Hole, 312 Bowery Opening Reception: Friday, March 30, 7-9pm For more information, go HERE. [Photo via]
