Stand still like the hummingbird

Stand still like the hummingbird
Author Henry Miller once penned, "Ought we not first learn to fly backward too, or stand still in the air like a hummingbird?" Curator Bellatrix Hubert has taken the philosophy of this phrase to heart, assembling a group exhibition of artists who "engage with contradictions, impossibilities, and the absurd." Expect work by Marcel Duchamp, Sherry Levine, On Kawara, and over a dozen more. Opening Reception: Thursday, June 28, 6-8pm Dates: June 28 – August 3 Location: David Zwirner, 525 West 19 Street For more information, go HERE. [Photo via]
