Created by Robert Irwin in 1977, this large-scale installation made specifically for the Whitney's fourth floor gallery is once again on display. The piece may be minimalistic in theory, but its manipulation of light and space allows viewers to experience a range of individual interpretations based on their position and perspective within the space.
