Sol LeWitt at Paula Cooper Gallery
Sol LeWitt's conceptual piece,
Wall Drawing #564, is another archival artwork from the 1980s being revived. Created for the 1988 Venice Biennale, it will be executed and exhibited for the first time in two decades at Paula Cooper Gallery. The pioneering large-scale piece combines complex geometric forms with specifically superimposed colors of ink wash in order to produce a breathtaking, luminous surface.
When: September 3-October 10
