Invitation to a Beheading at Marianne Boesky Gallery
Curated by Rachel Howard,
Invitation to a Beheading is a group exhibition inspired by the 1935 novel of the same name by Vladimir Nabokov. Works by Howard, as well as Fiona Banner, Eloise Fornieles, Sarah Lucas, and Joyce Pensato, explore the relationship between the individual and society, venturing on existentialism—precisely the themes that haunt Nabokov's main character.
