How Cool Is This Artist's Illustrated Holiday Map Of Rockefeller Center?!!

by Una O'Brien-Taubman · December 3, 2020

    'Tis the season!

As if Rockefeller Center weren't already the most festive destination in the city, this year Brooklyn-based artist Oliver Jeffers is adding his delightfully playful touch to all of the merriment.

In need of a fun adventure? Head to the lobby of 30 Rockefeller Plaza to secure a must-have copy of Jeffers' limited-edition holiday map. Wonderfully scribbled with cheerful illustrations - from the Radio City Rockettes to the ice skating rink - the map is a free guide to Rockefeller Center's most beloved treasures.

Can't make it in person to grab your own copy or catch the artist's corresponding murals posted up around the area? Be sure to tune in to Rockefeller Center's Instagram Live this Thursday, December 3rd for an exciting drawing and reading event featuring the celebrated illustrator.

On display through January 11th, Jeffers' work concludes the 2020 Art in Focus series presented by Rockefeller Center and Art Production Fund - so grab your map, grab a friend, and get ready to begin your holiday adventure!
