Location = Time + Money
New Yorkers are lazy. With anything you could possibly want for in a five-block radius it’s hard not to be. Netflix has sucked all motivation to venture to your neighborhood cinema, let alone another borough. Some of us can barely make it through a four-minute song without switching gears, so a three-hour matinee is an immediate no-go.
Try a gallery or museum and stroll through an exhibit of your choice. Stay as long or as little as you like. Tickets won’t set you back – most museum admission is roughly what you’d spend on a cocktail or a suggested donation. At the very least you’ll pick up some 'gram-able material.
Non-Manhattanites who would rather feign sickness than crossing a bridge to get to gallery district, go local. No excuses.
