Serge Strosberg, Agalmatophilia
Agalmatophilia, the sexual attraction to a doll, figure, or statue, is the title of a group of works presented by Serge Strosberg. The series was exhibited at MAve Hotel's storefront gallery. An opening reception hosted by some of the most influential members of the art and fashion world including Gen Art founder Ian Gerard kicked it off.

Strosberg attempted to explore the role of mannequins in society. His work plays with the idea of fetishism and what statues are meant to represent in our society. Strosberg first took photographs of mannequins in high fashion cities such as Paris, New York, and London before moving on to his large scale paintings, which he produced with oil and egg tempera.
