Arguably the official First Lady of the New York art world, Sarah Hoover is the irreverent art historian / writer / philanthropist / fashion icon to know. After earning a BA in Art History from NYU and a masters degree in Cultural Theory from Columbia, Sarah headed to preeminent international art gallery Gagosian, where for nearly 15 years she worked as a dealer, artist liaison, and director. These days she's involved in cultural institutions from the Art Production Fund and the Frick Collection to the American Ballet Theater and Recess Art. Oh, and she's married to acclaimed contemporary artist Tom Sachs.
