Whitney Makes Art Affordable Tomorrow Night At American Art Awards

by Georgia Bobley · May 14, 2012

Tomorrow night the Whitney Museum will honor Peter M. Brant, The Henry Luce Foundation, and Ogilvy & Mather with the 2012 American Art Award, and the museum will turn into an art gallery in the evening for the celebration.

If you can't afford anything from the Whitney's permanent collection, let's be honest, your pockets still may not be deep enough for tomorrow's sale, but the art certainly is more affordable than the Whitney's typical prices.

Guests at tomorrow night's event can sip on drinks while they search for the perfect piece to add to their art collections. Works by Beth Campbell, Jason Middlebrook, and David Altmejd will be among those on display.
