The concept of this book really hits home. An other-worldly romantic one-week stand results in a man ghosting a woman who is completely and utterly flabbergasted by the situation. We’ve all been there, right? We think FOR SURE we’ve found #theone, only to realize they apparently felt otherwise and instead should actually receive an Oscar nom. This book was nominated for a Bad Bitch Book Club pick of the month last year & I have to say, I am SO glad we chose a different book (The Hate U Give) instead. It was slow for the first 70% and didn’t get interesting until the very end. When you have no desire to pick up the mystery you’re reading, that’s when you know it’s a skip.
