Eagle Street Rooftop Farm
We all know that a tree grows in Brooklyn, but on the Eagle Street rooftop it's a whole farm with a diverse crop of organic fruits and vegetables. The warehouse rooftop covers 6,000 square feet along the shoreline of the East River and provides sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline. Starting in September, the onsite market will be re-open to the public and city-dwellers will be able to to purchase some of the freshly picked produce and learn more about the process of organic farming.
