Mark Ronson Is Engaged... To Meryl Streep's Daughter?!

We guess if one had to try to impress the inimitable Meryl Streep enough to marry her daughter, seven Grammy awards wouldn't hurt. Luckily for Mark Ronson, he's got all those and an Oscar.

No wonder he was able to seal the deal with Grace Gummer, the Hollywood icon's actress daughter with husband Don Gummer.

The hit-making musician and producer announced their recent engagement during an episode of his podcast, The FADER Uncovered, with Tame Impala, sharing that the couple's first kiss occurred while listening to Tame Impala's debut album, InnerSpeaker.

"There's a plaque for that somewhere. There's a first kiss, very corny Hallmark first kiss plaque," he said. "But no, it was forever, it will be etched. It's still my record."

Ronson and Gummer, who has had roles on Broadway and in TV shows including American Horror Story and Mr. Robot, have been linked since 2020. They first sparked engagement rumors this past May when Gummer was spotted out and about in London with a diamond sparkler on her ring finger as she and her beau were on their way to lunch with Ronson's own high society mother, Ann Dexter-Jones.

The lovebirds have both previously been married, Ronson to French actress Joséphine de La Baume and Gummer to actor Tay Strathairn (they separated after just 42 days).

Considering Ronson's own A-list family ties, including sisters Charlotte and Samantha Ronson and rock star stepdad Mick Jones, we can only imagine that their wedding will be the star-studded event of whichever year it happens...
