Archibald Alexander Leach, known more commonly as Cary Grant, the two-time, Best Actor Academy Award nominee was born in England, but became a resident of New York City. He lived in the Warwick Hotel at 65 West 54th Street for 12 years. Other famous guests and residents of the hotel included Irving Berlin, Elvis Presley, and the Beatles.
