Rebel Without a Cause star James Dean lived on the Upper West Side at 19 West 68th Street in apartment 5F, a no-frills 12 x 12 foot room. The tiny studio, on the top floor of a beige brownstone walk-up just off Central Park West, has a bathroom located down the hall. Dean moved from his NY apartment in 1955, just nine months before his death in a car accident when he was 24. According to the New York Times, Russell Aaronson, a waiter and massage therapist, now lives there with his family.
