Marilyn Monroe's famous "skirt flying scene" was filmed in New York at 569 Lexington Ave near 50th Street. She also resided in the Big Apple during the 1950s. When the original blonde bombshell was married to the famous American playwright Arthur Miller, they lived at 444 East 57th Street on the 13th floor. She kept the apartment after their divorce until her tragic death in 1962.
