Cool guy chef and downtown restaurant scion, Emilio Vitolo Jr., made some waves a few months ago after it was revealed that he dumped his designer fiancée just hours before paparazzi photos showing him and his new galpal, one Katie Holmes, on a date in NYC went public.
But despite the drama surrounding the start of their love affair, the foodie playboy and A-list actress are apparently still going strong - and they're not afraid to show it.
On Friday, 33-year-old Vitolo took to Instagram to wish Holmes a happy birthday (her 42nd), making their paparazzi-and-PDA relationship IG official.
"The most amazing, kindest, beautiful person," he captioned a slightly blurry black and white photo of her on his lap at - where else? - his dad's hot spot eatery, Emilio's Ballato. "Every time I see your face it makes me smile. Happy Birthday!!! I love you!!"
Wow, the "L" word and all - kids these days sure move fast!
