Career Beginnings
-Although known for his action hero stints in
The Fast and the Furious films, Paul actually launched his career on the small screen.
-His very first job? A TV commercial for Pampers when he was a toddler!
-After minor roles on television hits like
Who's The Boss, The Young and the Restless, and
Touched by an Angel, the talented young actor made his feature film debut in 1998, with Disney's surf-flick
Meet the Deedles.
-Though not a huge success, the mainstream exposure did lead to key roles in '90s cult hits
Pleasantville, Varsity Blues, and
She's All That. And fans weren't the
only ones who appreciated Paul's "back to school" phase:
"That was a blast. I mean I loved it. I didn't have a prom and I got to play the meathead jock that I hated in high school. I mean I guess I was semi-categorized as being a jock in high school, but I was kinda weird in high school, though, because I played all the sports yet my hair was always down to my shoulders."
