The Kaylor of it All

If you aren’t familiar with the theory that Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss are romantically involved, I’m going to need you to take a seat. This is probably the most well established conspiracy theory in the Swiftie community, and people feel very, very strongly about it one way or another. There is a highly-circulated powerpoint entitled “Reputation Is About Karlie Kloss” that will have even staunch non-believers second guessing themselves. 

So where does this all come from? There was a point (circa 1989 aka 2014) that these two were thick-as-thieves, regularly vacationed together and would do dual interviews. Karlie even had her own bedroom at Taylor’s NYC apartment. And so it’s not exactly unreasonable for fans to speculate about their relationship. 

But even the most intense of the Kaylor shippers can’t deny the real love between Taylor and her London Boy Joe Alywn. Even though Karlie insists they are still friends, true Swifties have many reasons to doubt that. Karlie is managed by Taylor’s arch-nemesis Scooter Braun, directly tied to the Carlyle Group and was reportedly loose lipped about Taylor’s private business. Whether their relationship was romantic or platonic, based on the fact that Taylor didn’t attend Karlie’s wedding, I think it’s safe to say they’re never getting back together (like, ever).
