Taylor Swift's New Year's Eve Costume Party Was Full Of Celebs

Remember when Taylor Swift was the ringleader of Hollywood's most publicized girl gang? There was nary a red carpet in sight she wouldn't strut down with her squad in tow. But while some faces have changed and/or been replaced (ahem, Karlie Kloss), it appears the singer is still hanging out with a famous flock.

The group was revealed on Instagram when T. Swift hosted a rather creative take on the typical New Year's Eve soiree, inviting friends to swap out their sequin party frocks for costumes inspired by their childhood heroes. And, since she's no stranger to throwing A-list parties (#TBT those epic July 4th celebrations), it certainly seemed like a bash for the books.

Gigi Hadid went full Mary Poppins for the occasion, while Blake Lively got down in gingham as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. Model Leah McCarthy dressed up as pop-punk princess Avril Lavigne and Swift's bestie, Abigail Lucier, did her best Posh Spice impression. A Nancy Drew, Frida Kahlo, Ms. Frizzle, and Rizzo from Grease were also in attendance. As for the hostess herself? She donned a red wig and green tail as The Little Mermaid's Ariel.

Lively's hubby Ryan Reynolds apparently kept his Aviation Gin flowing for guests, who gathered around the television to ring in the new year watching Taylor's “Reputation” tour special on Netflix.
