Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival may have had it's start in '99, but many modern Woodstockers will  look back on '09 as the year to remember.  Why was this year so important-besides the eclectic mix of hippies, hipsters, indie rockers, and neon sporting punksters?

Well, if history is any kind of teacher, we were about due for another recession inspired revolution, and Coachella may be just the catalyst we need.  Not only can the concert industry now exhale in relief, but, as the water sprayed across the neon headbands and floral sundresses, the Hipster Slushie that was created in Indio, California; this weekend can be seen as an inspiration for all.  Whether they came bearing cutoffs, TopShop, feathers, or bare skin, they came and they celebrated. The brightest and most original Daily Style Phile bunch we've seen to date. Maybe music can really save us all...
