Daily Style Phile: Alexa Winner

We couldn't help but notice that Alexa Winner is everywhere these days: Metalball at MoMA, Love Magazine's Party, the Angel Ball, and the Ferragamo party to name a few. In between party hopping, the recent Parsons Grad is writing a book on style in the New York Social Scene, which means it's time for us to take a look at what she herself is wearing while out and about.-

Alexa has a passion for  styling, as evidenced by the eclectic and glamorous outfits she puts together for herself while attending events around town. She was an Integrated Design major at Parsons, which meant studying shoe, accessory and textile design.This appreciation for accessories and textiles is evident in all of her evening looks: no dress is complete with out a little accessorizing, whether it be a hat, a ribbon, or a corset. One things for certain: girl loves a Harley Davidson Tee, and a good Cuff.

For the recent Museo del Barrio Benefit, Alexa eschewed the Halloween/Day Of The Dead theme for an art-deco metalic halter with jaw-dropping backline, and, for a little extra oomph, a black fascinator in her hair, and an arm band cut from the same material as her dress. She lost the glamour and kept the drama for a Stylecaster shoot: a Harley Davidson tee, ripped jeans, and a neck cuff.

Here, pictured at Metalball, she accessorized her LBD with a black fedora and, barely visible in the photograph, a (leather?) corset around her middle.

At a recent event at the Ferragamo store, Alexa wore a praire style, full length dress, paired with a pale green stone necklace matched almost perfectly to her nail polish. And, at the Giorgio Gucci Gala in late September, she accessorized her white dress with matching hair ribbon to tie her hair back.

Other looks for Alexa: super short shorts paired with knee-high boots, a belt, and a jacket; on the right, a dress so heavily embellished with ribbons and flowers and gold lamé that even Alexa decided to go easy on the accessories.

So, the girl pulls out all the stops for a night on the town, but what does she wear while on vacation?

Cut off shorts, flip flips, and a tshirt, just like everyone else. Hey, even stylists have to take a break sometime.
