Daily Style Phile: Justin Bartha Is Ashley Olsen's Main Squeeze

[Photo via PMc] It has seemed since the Olsen twins have been old enough to date, they have done an excellent job of keeping their private lives away from tabloids and the public eye (er, right). While some of you may know Ashley Olsen has been quietly dating Justin Bartha, an actor best known for his roles in National Treasure 1 & 2, for the past year, Ashley made a very public appearance at the MET Costume Institute Gala last night with her undercover beau. Besides his roles in the popular adventure films, what many of you don't know about the actor is... well, anything. But now that he has been a staple on the arm of one of the city's (and the nation's) top fashion icons, we think it's about time we take a look at the 30-year old hearthrob. Afterall, what could be better than an action star in a Dolce tux?

"Justin was born in Florida, raised in Michigan, but he's been a New Yorker all his life," his father has said. This makes him a perfect Daily Style Phile contender - and boyfriend for Ashley, as she currently calls NYC home. Having spent twelve years here, the Olsen isn't Justin's first high profile girlfriend however; The actor has also dated socialite Lydia Hearst, and the relationship is rumored to have ended less than pretty. Apparently, Olsen isn't one for believing rumors.

If you're not exactly a fan of the action film genre, Justin may still not have flown under your radar - if you caught the romantic comedy Failure to Launch, you may remember him as Matthew McConaughey's slightly awkward friend who lived in his parents' basement. And if you were one of the fifteen or so people who saw Gigli, you probably remember his major role from there. But with three very promising upcoming films, Bartha has a lot on his plate and hopefully a lot of success in his future as well.

Ashley went for a white dress with a draped low back from the twins' own line The Row for the The MET Costume Institute Gala last night, even though her sister Mary-Kate was decked out in a more elaborate Christian Lacroix.  But what really got our blood going was Justin Bartha in his classic Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo. We have a funny idea the perfect fitting tux was hand-picked by his fashion designer girlfriend. Ashley isn't one to let her style slack anywhere - not in the clothes department, and not in the boyfriend department. And Justin's style has gone from more on the casual side to a step up since dating the 22 year old - but who can blame him? He's dating in the fashion major leagues now.
