Last night, guests enjoyed cocktails and dinner followed by an after-party at Tribeca 360 at a gala benefit to support DIA Art Foundation's exhibitions and programs. The Fall Gala marks Dia's return to Lower Manhattan where it is developing a new space for exhibitions and programs on far West 22nd Street.
The evening featured the first-ever live performance of Girl Walk // All Day, a high-energy, experimental dance group. Paris based Sebastien Perrin DJed the invitation-only after party hosted by W Magazine. Giorgio Armani conceptualized the event space, printed materials were by Triboro Design, and catering by Creative Edge.
Those in attendance included DIA Chairman Nathalie de Gunzburg and her husband Charles de Gunzburg, DIA director Philippe Vergne and DIA trustees Christopher Bass, Frances Bowes, Sandra Brant, Howard Rachofsky, Christine Stanton, and Jimmy Traboulsi. Collectors, philanthropists, and art world notables in attendance included Hope Atherton and Gavin Brown, Rafael de Cardenas, Peter C. Freeman, Barbara Gladstone, David Maupin, Marian Goodman, Marc and Andrea Glimcher, Michelle Maccarone, David Zwirner, and DIA curator Yasmil Raymond. Kimberly Light, Archie Drewey, Karolina Kurkova, Giovanna Buttaglia, Vladimir Wrightfeld, Valerie De Boni, Wanda McDaniel, Lawrence Weiner, Allison Spear, China Chow, Olympia Scarry, Parker Posey, and Julian Schnabel also attended.
