If it seemed like every single A-lister you follow on Instagram was in Venice this weekend, well, you certainly weren't imagining it. The romantic canal city is playing host to Dolce & Gabbana's three-day fashion fête leading up to the Venice Film Festival, during which the problematic yet apparently still-beloved brand is unveiling its new collections while celebrating with a series of glamorous dinner parties - and plenty of glamorous guests.
The festivities culminated in the always over-the-top Alta Moda presentation on Sunday, where models and celebrity attendees arrived to the Piazza San Marco by water taxi, making appropriately dramatic entrances to the fashion show which included a performance by Jennifer Hudson, carnivalesque entertainers, and, of course, look after stunning look of couture creations.
