Last Thursday, Avenue-Wendy Show’s Art & Antiques at the Armory hosted a benefit gala for the Yale Center for Dyslexia & Creativity. The event featured a gallery installation of 30 years of Avenue Icons including Martha Stewart, Marc Jacobs, Isaac Mizrahi, Georgina Chapman, Amy Sacco, Pat Buckley, Donald Trump, Jann Wenner, and Richard Johnson. Co-chairs and hosts, including Avenue Publisher Julie Dannenberg, Claude Wasserstein, and Richard & Marcia Mishaan treated guests to a viewing of Avenue’s Icons along with antique and art showcases, allowing invitees to enjoy (and even purchase!) everything from beautiful jewelry to rare books to home décor.
