Breil Milano has opened a new flagship store at 148 Spring Street in Soho, one of New York City’s most celebrated shopping districts.
One in a series of flagship stores which Breil Milano is opening up in the key city capitals of luxury, it evolves from the new monobrand boutiques recently opened in Berlin (February 2008), Florence and Barcelona (April 2008) .

The 155 square meter space in New York is respectful of the historical building in which it is housed while adding a modern, luminous and pleasing touch. In the street level area (90 sq. m) small leather items, eyewear and fragrances are featured, while bags, watches and jewelry can be purchased at the lower level.
The Breil Milano flagship store epitomizes a new kind of luxury, a pared-down and almost minimalist style in which art and design mix up seamlessly. It is a place of great visual impact which combines warm color tones with bronze and green tints and where each detail, furniture item and accessory has been purposely designed and is a one-of-a-kind production.
The design of Breil Milano New York is contemporary and cool. The entire left-hand wall is covered by original tiles, the work of Dutch artist Edwin Vlassenroot who also sculpted magnificent lampshades in copper. Facing the ceramic wall is an eye-catching shelf unit, symmetrical and simple, that displays eyewear. A more private space has been created at the lower level where jewelry and watches are available to the public and where large accessorized walls in warm toned light oak give a strong sense of a natural environment.
This new architectural concept for Breil Milano flagship stores is to be extended soon to the upcoming openings in Rome (September 2008) and Milan.
